Our story
PV Diagnostics is a result of years of extensive experience gained in the solar industry. Coming from a background of solar manufacturing and EPC, we discovered numerous gaps in the solar value chain particularly at its nascent stage, when it came to the reliability of plant’s components. This understanding proved to be a starting point for PVD along with the resolution to assist in better performance of the plants.
Established in 2017, PV Diagnostics, offers solar diagnostics as the prime service. Over the years, we have extended our services across the value chain from owner’s engineer to factory quality checks to technical due diligence. We have worked with industry leaders and have a diverse portfolio of 60+ domestic and international clients. We have strong collaborations with premier research institutes like Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay to contribute to our technological advancements, thereby accelerating our technological developments manifolds.
Our mission is to work closely with all the stakeholders and provide our expertise in the form of services to enhance the performance of the solar assets.
This enables developers and IPPs to get benefitted the most with additional generation and reliable assets. We aim to make the industry more quality-conscious along with increased accountability. We believe that the only way to increase accountability is through diligent procurement practices, efficient installation and operation processes, and extensive diagnostics at different plant levels. If these high standards are not maintained, it will directly impact generation, which will not only be a loss for the developers and IPPs, but will also signify a national loss.

Our team and their expertise
Our team stands for raw aptitude, expertise and structure, that helps us address any critical problem in the plant. The core team comes from premier education institutes, having a collective experience of 100+ years in the solar industry. Our expertise lies in — PV module technology, project construction, new product design and optimisation, quality and reliability testing, failure analysis, process engineering and microelectronics.
Having completed diagnostics of more than 5 GW of solar assets, we have an extensive understanding of the ground-level challenges. Being an early mover in the industry, we have access to the breadth and depth of data that improves the accuracy of our algorithms for custom findings and recommendations.
